APAA is proud to support the 14th China Arbitration Week (15–21 September 2026) as a Supporting Organization.
Convened by the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC), China Arbitration Week brings the global arbitration community together for a week of exchange, culminating in its flagship event, the China Arbitration Summit 2026, in Beijing on 18 September.
Co-hosted by CIETAC, the China Maritime Arbitration Commission (CMAC), UNCITRAL: United Nations Commission on International Trade Law and the All China Lawyers Association (ACLA), this year’s Summit gathers under the theme “International Arbitration in a Changing World”, marking a double milestone: the 70th anniversary of CIETAC and the 60th anniversary of UNCITRAL.
We are especially honoured that APAA’s President, GASTON KENFACK DOUAJNI, has been invited to speak in Session I : “Harmonious Integration to Strengthen the International Arbitration Order.”
At a moment when the international rule of law is being tested and reshaped, APAA welcomes this opportunity to deepen the dialogue between the African, Chinese and international arbitration communities, and to help advance a fair, balanced and forward-looking arbitration order.
