Each academic year SOAS host about five public seminars on an arbitration related theme. In 2018/19 SOAS shall welcome the following speakers:
- Thursday, 25 Oct 2018: Mr Hussein Haeri will speak on investment Seminar by Hussein Haeri 25 Oct 2018-1
- Thursday 29 Nov 2018: Hon Judge Edward Torgbor will discuss the New York Convention at 60.
- Thursday 31 Jan 2019: Dr Sally El Sawah will speak on the power of states to regulate and investment arbitration.
- Thursday 28 Feb 2019: Ms Eunice Shang-Simpson will discuss the participation of African states in the work of UNCITRAL.
- Thursday, 28 Mar 2019: Mr Solomon Ebere will explore small States and costs in international arbitration.
