🌍 Hong Kong Arbitration Week 2026: coming soon!
Very soon, Hong Kong will bring together the global arbitration community. The Association for the Promotion of Arbitration in Africa (APAA) is pleased to share the calendar of Hong Kong Arbitration Week 2026, as announced by HKIAC. Events are filling up quickly.
📅 Program highlights
- Monday, 19 October — Welcome Reception at Popinjays, The Murray, followed by the Opening Night After Party at Zuma.
- Thursday, 22 October — ADR in Asia Conference at the Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong, themed “Arbitration: Recalibrating for the future”: quality of arbitral decision-making, ethical challenges, the future of legal practice in the age of AI, the international character of arbitration and the continuing importance of finality.
- 40+ affiliated events — technology, digital assets and private capital, as well as jurisdictional issues by region: Africa, the Middle East, Europe, Southeast Asia, Russia, Latin America and more.
✈️ Before and after the Week
- 15 October — ITA x HKIAC: a conversation with Neil Kaplan CBE KC SBS and launch of the Chinese version of his memoir, I Rest My Case (HKIAC).
- 18 October — CIETAC Greater Bay Summit: cross-border dispute resolution and the impact of AI on international arbitration (JW Marriott Hotel Hong Kong).
- 24–27 October — Foreign Direct Investment International Arbitration Moot (FDI Moot), SCIA Tower, Qianhai FTZ, Shenzhen.
